Drasko Grbic, executive director of the Serbian American Center, has deceased on Tuesday, May 1st 2007, in Belgrade. Family, friends and colleagues attended the funeral on Friday 4th May, at the New Cemetery in Belgrade. Farewell speeches were held by Drasko’s collaborators and personal friends Trivo Indjic, counselor to the President of the Republic of Serbia and Milanko Vlajic, philosophy professor in Banja Luka.
Drasko Grbic graduated in philosophy. He used to work as a book editor in the Publishing center Komunist,  as a business secretary- editor of publications, and as an assistant to the director at the Institute of philosophy and social theory. From 2002 he was the executive director of the Serbian-American Center in Belgrade. He was the founder and president of theboardof the Association of citizens- Komunikacija, the biggest regional basis of electronic magazine editions.
He was married and had two children.

The Serbian-American Center has lost an excellent collaborator and a dear friend.
